WHAT YOU WILL LEARN in Level 1A: • Foundations of Form: Master basic shapes (sphere, cylinder, cone) to understand volume and 3D space. • Portrait Essentials: Explore various types and styles of portraiture. • Professional Vocabulary: Essential shading terms and the art of signing your finished work. • Human Anatomy: Deep dive into the structure of the skull, head muscles, and the neck. • The Features: * The Mouth: Anatomy of the lips and muscles, inspired by Michelangelo’s David. • The Nose: Understanding the underlying bone structure and musculature. All exercises for this level are completed using graphite pencil or charcoal on paper. SESSION STRUCTURE: Total available studio time: up to 3 hours (180 min). • 30 min "The Painter’s Lounge" Pre-Session (Optional): Homework review and troubleshooting. • 120 min (2 hours) MAIN SESSION: Intensive drawing practice, lectures and slide presentations. • 30 min "The Painter’s Lounge" Post-class (Optional): Final Q&A and help to finalize your work with my guidance. IMPORTANT DETAILS • Location: Interactive Live Class via Microsoft Teams. • Materials List: I will send a detailed list of all professional tools and materials immediately after your registration is confirmed. • Atmosphere: I maintain a small group setting (max 15 students) to ensure a focused and professional studio environment where every artist receives personal attention.
