Such a beautiful flowers and their life lasts so little. I want to grasp every detail, remember and decipher their beauty - it leaves so quickly. And when the peonies leave, it seems that it was just a mirage...
The background in the picture cannot be separated from the bouquet - it is one whole. The sun glare falling on the peonies, as it were, helps to determine the location and shape of the flowers, their color on the petals here and there is lightened to a completely white tone.Technique
The painting is done on canvas panel in the ala-prima technique with mainly cold colors and a few warm shades that accidentally crept onto the canvas whichdo not look even a little warm in combination with overwhelming cold colors. The entire background of the canvas palel was previously covered with a range of cold shades of the future picture.
The painting has not yet been varnished.
