About
Plump pumpkin shapes painted in vibrant colors. They look like children's multi-colored play balls. But pumpkins only look like toys, but in reality, they are heavy and solid. Here's a contrast. You can appear funny but be serious inside.
Technique
Textured paste was roughly applied to a white canvas. Then the canvas was completely tinted with black primer. Pumpkins are drawn in dry brush technique on this rough black background. The painting is covered with a thick layer of varnish with drips to further accentuate the dry brushing technique and the heaviness of the pumpkins.
