About
This is a pretty typical landscape that you can see in the Carpathian Mountains in Ukraine. Layers of mountains and cozy, wealthy houses.
Technique
The canvas was additionally primed with black ground and black imprimatura. Then a layer of oil paints was applied. For the leaves of the trees on the foreground, bright colors are used. And for the leaves on the background and around the edges of the painting, dark cold shades are used. This creates versatility and perspective for a decorative primitive style.
