Story

The painting is based on a photograph I took at Westcave Outdoor Discovery Center, Texas. A place where time seems to stand still. But if you look closely, time runs in its own rhythm and pace. Plants grow as convenient for them, and you can see what the World would be like, where man did not touch nature.

The Artistry

The painting is painted on a black background in decorative style. The white canvas was previously coated with black primer. The oil paint for grass was applied in a few bold layers by palette knife by volume strokes.
